Product Description

Inspired by Australia's iconic Sturt Pea flower, this beautiful Moorcroft vase showcases the vibrant crimson blooms and flowing green foliage that have made the design one of the pottery's most recognisable Australian-themed creations. Executed in Moorcroft's celebrated tube-lined technique, the rich colours and intricate detailing bring remarkable depth and character to the piece.

Standing approximately 19.5cm tall, this handcrafted vase was produced exclusively for the Australian market circa 2000 as part of a limited edition of just 500 pieces. This example is numbered 88 of 500, bears the special edition backstamp, is signed by the artist and is presented in its original box.

A wonderful addition to any Moorcroft collection, the vase combines rarity, craftsmanship and a uniquely Australian subject, making it highly appealing to collectors of fine art pottery.

Each piece in our collection carries the subtle marks of time, adding to its authenticity and charm. Any notable details are thoughtfully included in the description and imagery. Should you wish to see more, we are always happy to assist.

If This Piece Could Talk…
It might recall the warmth of late afternoon light falling across a quiet interior, its vivid crimson blooms bringing colour and life into the room beside collected books, natural linens and polished timber. Perhaps it was chosen not only for its beauty, but for the way it captured something unmistakably Australian — resilient, vibrant and deeply connected to the landscape itself.

Even now, it carries that same quiet presence, adding richness, warmth and atmosphere to a thoughtfully layered home.
