International Shipping & Customs
We are pleased to offer international shipping to many destinations worldwide for selected items within the Marple Antiques collection. Each piece is carefully packed with great attention and care to help ensure safe arrival.
Please note that overseas orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, VAT, import regulations, and other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise stated.
Import requirements vary between countries and may change without notice. Certain destinations or item categories may require additional review prior to shipment. We encourage customers to contact us or consult their local customs authority prior to ordering to confirm any applicable import conditions, duties, or restrictions.
Please note that we are currently unable to offer shipping to the United States due to evolving import and customs requirements affecting certain antique and vintage items.

Condition Descriptions
At Marple Antiques, we specialise in antique, vintage, and collectable pieces that naturally carry the character and gentle signs of age acquired over time. We carefully identify and disclose any significant wear, damage, repairs, or restoration within each item description wherever applicable.
Given the age and nature of these pieces, minor wear, surface variations, manufacturing irregularities of the period, or age-related characteristics such as fine, stable crazing are not generally considered faults. Rather, these features form part of the item’s authenticity, history, and unique charm.
We encourage customers to review all photographs carefully as they form part of the description. Should you require additional images or information prior to purchase, we are always happy to assist.
Returns Policy
Due to the unique and one-of-a-kind nature of antique and vintage items, we do not accept returns for change of mind.
Items may be returned if they are materially not as described. In such cases, notification must be made within 7 days of receipt by email or phone. Once the item has been returned and inspected, a refund of the purchase price together with the original shipping cost will be issued where applicable.
Returning Your Item to Us
Returned items must be carefully packed and returned in the same high-quality manner in which they were originally dispatched. Refunds may be refused if an item is received damaged due to inadequate packaging or if it is not returned in its original condition.
Duties and Taxes (Returns)
Customs duties, taxes, VAT, and import charges paid to the destination country are generally non-refundable where an item has been exported and later returned.
Insurance
All items are shipped fully insured and include tracking for peace of mind.
In the unlikely event of loss or damage during transit, claims will be managed in accordance with Australia Post’s insurance and claims process. We will gladly assist customers where required during this process.
Shipping
Orders are generally dispatched within 2–3 business days via Australia Post. All shipments include tracking and insurance for peace of mind. If you require your item sooner than our standard dispatch timeframe, please contact us prior to purchase and we will do our best to assist.
