Product Description
A charming expression of form inspired by nature. This pair of Wedgwood Etruria majolica shakers, dating to the 1940s, are modelled as cabbage leaves, with softly moulded detail and a rich green glaze typical of mid-20th century majolica production.
The design reflects Wedgwood’s continued use of naturalistic motifs, with the surface showing gentle tonal variation and depth through the glaze. Both pieces are well balanced in form and proportion, consistent with factory production of the period.
Each shaker measures approximately 9.5cm in height. Condition consistent with age, with no major damage noted. A well-matched pair, increasingly difficult to source together.
We endeavour to provide accurate information on all items; however, as these are antique and vintage pieces, variations and signs of age are to be expected and form part of their character. Please contact us if you would like further details or additional photos prior to purchase.
