A striking piece of Polish art glass by renowned glass artist Adam Jablonski, this substantial handblown lead crystal apple combines a wonderfully simple form with brilliant colour and light.
The apple is formed in rich glowing red crystal, finished with a clear glass stem and a beautifully modelled green leaf. Measuring approximately 15 cm tall x 11 cm wide, it retains its original Jablonski label and accompanying tag and is signed by the artist. Jablonski (1936–2018) became known for his technically accomplished handmade crystal and sculptural glass, with signed examples of his work continuing to attract collectors of Polish and European studio glass.
Beautiful displayed on a kitchen or dining-room shelf, sideboard, console or amongst a collection of art glass, the apple also has excellent gift appeal.
