Dating to 1996, the design features a dramatic phoenix with deep cobalt blue, turquoise and warm orange plumage, its sweeping feathers continuing around the rounded body of the vase. The tall, slender neck and bulbous base provide an elegant canvas for the intricate tube-lined decoration for which Moorcroft is renowned.
Measuring approximately 21 cm tall, this is a wonderful addition to a Moorcroft collection and a beautiful statement piece for a sideboard, mantelpiece or collector's cabinet. It would also make a memorable gift for a Moorcroft collector or lover of British art pottery.
