Product Description
One of Lalique’s most enchanting nature-inspired designs, this vintage Bagatelle vase, dating to circa 1950s–1960s, brings a lively gathering of birds and foliage to life in beautifully frosted and polished crystal.
Originally designed by René Lalique in 1939, the celebrated Bagatelle pattern features small birds nestled amongst luxuriant foliage, with satin-frosted relief contrasting beautifully against areas of clear polished crystal. This later Lalique France example dates to circa 1950s–1960s and measures approximately 17 cm tall.
The vase presents beautifully, with some age-related surface scratches to the underside of the base. A wonderful gift for a Lalique collector or lover of French crystal, and an elegant decorative piece that can be enjoyed with flowers or displayed simply as a work of art in its own right.
Each piece in our collection carries the subtle marks of time, adding to its authenticity and charm. Any notable details are thoughtfully included in the description and imagery. Should you wish to see more, we are always happy to assist.
