Product Description
A play of light and movement captured in glass. This vintage hand blown studio art glass vase, dated 1989, displays a beautifully iridescent surface with shifting tones of olive, gold, and soft violet that change subtly with the light.
The rounded form is both balanced and sculptural, enhanced by organic trailing patterns that flow across the surface like molten ribbons. These fluid inclusions create depth and movement, giving the piece a distinctive artistic presence. The finish has a lightly textured, almost frosted quality in places, contrasting with the luminous sheen of the iridescence.
A signature is present near the pontil mark, adding to its individuality as a studio-made piece. The vase measures approximately 11cm in height and sits comfortably as a decorative accent, whether displayed alone or within a curated grouping.
A striking example of late 20th century studio glass, where form, colour, and light work together to create a quietly expressive object.
As these are antique and vintage pieces, gentle signs of age are to be expected and form part of each item’s unique history and character. We invite you to contact us for further details or additional photographs should you require them prior to purchase.
