Product Description

A striking example of Edwardian craftsmanship, this rare circa 1900 whisky decanter dazzles with its brilliant hand-cut crystal and timeless elegance. Featuring an attractive round form, the body is richly decorated with intricate diamond and cross-hatched cutting that catches and reflects the light from every angle.

Retaining its original stopper, the decanter measures approximately 19cm in height and weighs an impressive 1.7kg. Both decorative and functional, it would make a distinguished addition to a barware collection, gentleman's study or period-inspired interior.

Each piece in our collection carries the subtle marks of time, adding to its authenticity and charm. Any notable details are thoughtfully included in the description and imagery. Should you wish to see more, we are always happy to assist.

If This Piece Could Talk...
It might recall Edwardian evenings when polished timber sideboards, crystal glassware and the ritual of after-dinner conversation formed part of everyday life. Resting proudly within a gentleman's study or drawing room, its brilliantly cut crystal would have caught the glow of gaslight and early electric lamps, sparkling as whisky was poured and guests gathered to share stories, celebrations and quiet moments of reflection.

Expertly crafted around 1900, this handsome decanter remains a testament to the artistry of the glass cutter's wheel. More than a vessel for fine spirits, it serves as a reminder of an era that valued quality, craftsmanship and the simple pleasure of gathering together in good company.
