Tiny treasures of Japanese artistry, this delightful pair of antique Satsuma vases measures just 3 cm tall, yet each is beautifully painted with its own traditional botanical decoration.
Dating to circa 1900–1920, one vase is decorated with red and russet maple foliage, while its companion features graceful green bamboo. Both are enriched with fine gilt detailing and gilt rims, with the softly crackled ground adding to their antique character. Each vase is signed Shinzan/Kamiyama to the base.
