Product Description
An elegant antique silver and tortoiseshell perfume bottle featuring beautifully cut glass and a finely detailed silver overlay with ribbon motif decoration. Hallmarked London 1913 with maker’s mark WC, this piece reflects the refined craftsmanship and decorative sensibilities of the Edwardian era.
Standing approximately 11.5 cm tall, the bottle retains its original glass stopper and presents beautifully with gentle age-related wear consistent with time and careful use. There are a few small dents to the silver lid, visible in the images, which form part of the piece’s authentic character and history.
Combining practicality with ornamentation, perfume bottles such as these once formed part of the intimate rituals of the dressing table, where even everyday personal objects were created with beauty and craftsmanship in mind. Today, it remains a wonderfully decorative and collectible piece, equally suited to display within a vanity arrangement, dressing table setting or curated interior.
Each piece in our collection carries the subtle marks of time, adding to its authenticity and charm. Any notable details are thoughtfully included in the description and imagery. Should you wish to see more, we are always happy to assist.
