This exquisite 19th century Victorian hand blown Brides Bank glass vase is attributed to the renowned Kralik glassworks. Featuring a ribbed clear glass body and crowned with sculptural loops of green and clear applied glass, it captures the delicate artistry of Bohemian glassmakers. Despite its name, a "brides bank" was not used to hold money but was instead a cherished keepsake, often gifted to brides and used to display flowers or sentimental tokens from the wedding day.
Measuring approximately 13cm tall, this rare piece reflects the romantic traditions and craftsmanship of the Victorian era.
