International Shipping & Customs

We ship internationally. Please note that overseas orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, VAT, and other import charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are determined by local customs authorities, are beyond our control, and are payable by the buyer upon arrival. Customers are encouraged to check with their local customs authority to confirm which charges may apply in their country prior to ordering.


Condition Descriptions

At Marple Antiques, we specialise in delicate, individually crafted antique and collectable items with rich histories. We carefully identify and disclose any significant age-related wear, damage, or restoration within each item’s description.

Given the age and nature of antique and vintage pieces, minor wear, surface blemishes consistent with manufacturing techniques of the period, or evidence of age (such as fine, clean crazing) are not considered damage or significant detractors. Rather, these characteristics reflect the item’s history and authenticity and contribute to its unique charm.


Returns Policy

We do not accept returns for change of mind.

Items may be returned if they are not as described, provided you notify us of your intention to return the item within 7 days of receipt. Notification can be made by email or phone. In such cases, a full refund of the purchase price and original shipping cost will be issued once the item has been returned and inspected.


Returning Your Item to Us

Returned items must be carefully packed and returned in the same high-quality manner in which they were originally sent. Refunds will not be issued if an item is received damaged due to inadequate packaging or if it is not returned in the same condition as dispatched.


Duties and Taxes (Returns)

Customs duties, taxes, VAT, and import charges paid to the destination country are not refundable if an item has been exported and is later returned.


Insurance

All items are shipped fully insured. In the event of loss or damage during transit, the buyer may make a claim through Australia Post in accordance with their insurance process.


Shipping

We can ship to addresses worldwide. Please note that there may be restrictions on certain items, and some products may not be eligible for international shipping.

Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days via Australia Post. All shipments are tracked and insured for peace of mind.
