A graceful survivor from the Edwardian era, this 1905 Royal Worcester bud vase combines the soft warmth of the factory’s celebrated blush ivory porcelain with beautifully detailed thistle decoration.
The elegant form features a rounded body rising to a long slender neck, decorated with hand-painted thistles and delicate foliage in soft naturalistic colours, enhanced with gilt detailing to the rim, neck and base. The blush ivory ground gently graduates through warm cream and pale green tones characteristic of Royal Worcester decorative porcelain of the period.
Dated 1905 and measuring approximately 18 cm tall, it is a beautiful piece for displaying a single flower or simply enjoying as a decorative object.
