Product Description
Graceful, theatrical and richly detailed, this limited edition Royal Doulton figure captures the movement and artistry that made the firm’s figurative works so admired by collectors.
Issued as North American Indian Dancer HN2809, this beautifully modelled figure is numbered 137 of only 750 produced. The dancer is depicted mid-movement holding ceremonial flames, dressed in flowing traditional costume with braided hair, feathered headdress and finely decorated geometric detailing throughout the bodice, trim and moccasins.
The warm tones and elegant pose give the figure a wonderful sense of movement and presence, while the original plinth adds further display appeal. A striking and decorative example of Royal Doulton’s late 20th century figurative artistry.
The figure itself measures approximately 22cm tall.
