Product Description
A beautiful and rare Royal Albert Crown China trio dating from 1927–1935, featuring a delicate handpainted floral design in soft pinks, blues, and greens highlighted with fine gilt detail. This charming set includes a cup (6 cm tall), saucer (14 cm), and square plate (15.5 cm), each crafted from fine English bone china. The trio shows some expected age-related wear, including light gold gilding loss to the rims and handle, consistent with its age and history of gentle use.
This period of Royal Albert production, when the backstamp still read “Crown China,” represents some of the company’s most collectible and artistically decorated work. The handpainted elements, combined with the early shape and exquisite colour palette, showcase the craftsmanship and elegance that define pre-war Royal Albert pieces.
Surviving trios from this era in matching pattern and good condition are increasingly scarce, making this a wonderful addition for collectors of early Royal Albert, English china, or handpainted porcelain
