A rare and highly decorative London-made sterling silver table lighter dating to 1894, crafted in an elegant spherical form and resting on four ball feet. The lighter features twin loop handles and two removable wand extinguishers, each finished with beautifully detailed acorn finials. It measures approximately 12cm x 7cm and weighs 180 grams.
Hallmarked London 1894 with maker’s mark JB, this piece reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail typical of the period, when table lighters were an essential item in well-appointed homes for lighting candles, lamps, and cigars.
