Product Description
A beautiful little pair from the Art Deco era, these charming Czech glass posy vases capture the wonderful colour and creativity for which the glassmakers of Bohemia became so admired.
Attributed to Franz Welz and dating to circa 1930s, each vase features softly mottled pale green glass with deeper emerald-green vertical stripes, creating an attractive marbled effect. Their rounded, gently ribbed bodies rise from small pedestal feet, while the white cased glass interiors provide a lovely contrast to the vibrant exterior.
Standing approximately 12cm tall, these delightful vases are perfectly proportioned for a few freshly picked flowers, small posies or simply displayed together on a mantelpiece, sideboard or windowsill. Their matching form and distinctive colouring make them particularly appealing as a pair.
Each piece in our collection carries the subtle marks of time, adding to its authenticity and charm. Any notable details are thoughtfully included in the description and imagery. Should you wish to see more, we are always happy to assist.
