Product Description
Made for a time when even the sugar deserved a beautiful place at the table, this elegant sterling silver sugar castor was crafted by J.B. Chatterley & Sons Ltd and hallmarked London 1934.
Standing approximately 15cm tall, it has a beautifully balanced form with a pierced removable cover designed for sprinkling fine sugar. Its polished sterling silver and restrained detailing give it an understated elegance typical of quality English silver from the Art Deco period.
Originally intended for serving caster sugar, it can still be enjoyed today for afternoon tea, desserts or a beautifully laid dining table. When not in use, it makes an attractive addition to a collection of English silver.
Each piece in our collection carries the subtle marks of time, adding to its authenticity and charm. Any notable details are thoughtfully included in the description and imagery. Should you wish to see more, we are always happy to assist.
