Product Description
Charming, sculptural and unmistakably Art Deco in form, this 1930s French ceramic rabbit figure captures the elegant simplicity and refined styling of the period.
Produced by Saint-Clément, the figure is finished in a beautiful ivory crackle glaze that softly enhances the rounded modelling and gentle contours of the rabbit’s form. The original inset glass eyes add wonderful character and realism, while the restrained palette allows the sculptural quality of the piece to remain the focal point.
Authenticated by factory marks A3-B4, the figure reflects the distinctive decorative ceramics produced by Saint-Clément during the early 20th century. Measuring approximately 19cm in length, it displays beautifully as part of an Art Deco collection, cabinet arrangement or animal figure grouping.
