Product Description
A beautifully curated Franklin Mint collection of 11 miniature porcelain “Ladies of Fashion,” each elegantly styled to represent the grace and attire of her era. This set includes:
Charlotte c.1785, Sophia c.1833, Rose c.1815, Lucy c.1876, Elizabeth c.1630, Catherine c.1585, Clementine c.1902, Maria c.1480, Eleanor c.1415, Jane c.1535, and Caroline c.1755.
Though not officially named by Franklin Mint, each lady has been attributed a name and date reflecting the fashion of her time. Displayed on a two-tiered red velvet platform and housed beneath a clear glass dome with a dark wooden base, the presentation exudes refinement. The dome stands approximately 20cm high, offering a perfect showcase for this elegant ensemble.
If This Piece Could Talk:
“I am Charlotte, dressed for an evening in 1785, and beside me stands Eleanor, regal in the style of 1415. We do not move, but we remember.” Each lady would share her story: Maria might speak of Renaissance Italy, Catherine of Elizabethan intrigue, and Clementine of turn-of-the-century tea rooms. Though imagined, their fashions are real, echoing the silhouettes, textures, and colours of centuries past. Encased in glass, they stand united—guardians of elegance, frozen in time but full of quiet stories.
