Q: Why are your prices different from other online marketplaces?
A: Unlike mass-market platforms where reproductions are common, we only sell genuine antiques and vintage treasures. Our prices reflect the authenticity, rarity, and condition of each piece. We aim to keep our prices fair and moderate while ensuring the quality and history of every item is respected.

Shipping & Delivery
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes. We ship across Australia and worldwide. All items are securely packed, tracked, and insured.
Q: How do you pack fragile antiques?
A: Every order is carefully wrapped using protective materials to ensure safe arrival. Fragile items are double-boxed where necessary.
Q: How long will delivery take?
A: Within Australia, parcels usually arrive within 3–7 business days. International orders may take 2–4 weeks depending on customs and carrier.
Q: Can I track my order?
A: Yes. Once your order has shipped, we will send you tracking details so you can follow its journey until it arrives safely.

Lay-By & Payments
Q: Do you offer Lay-By?
A: Yes. We offer lay-by options so you can pay for your chosen piece over time. Please see our [Lay-By page] for details.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards (except Diners and American Express) and direct deposit.

Gifts & Sending Direct
Q: Do you offer gift wrapping?
A: We do not offer gift wrapping, but we are happy to send your purchase directly to the recipient. On request, we can include a card marking the occasion with your personalised message. Our antiques and vintage treasures make wonderful gifts for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or simply to show someone you care.
Q: Do you sell gift certificates?
A: Yes — both digital and physical gift certificates are available. They make wonderful presents for antique and vintage lovers.

Please keep in mind that our antiques are one-of-a-kind — once an item is sold, it may never come back again. Adding to your wishlist does not reserve the item, so we recommend purchasing quickly if you truly love it.

A: No. Marple Antiques does not purchase items from the public or provide appraisal services. Our focus is on curating and selling carefully selected antiques and vintage pieces.

Private Showings
Q: Do you offer private showings?
A: Yes. We can arrange private showings for groups of 15 people or more within approximately three hours of Sydney. These events are a unique opportunity for groups who wish to purchase antiques in a more personal setting, with the chance to explore carefully selected pieces, ask questions, and buy on the day. Private showings are ideal for collectors’ clubs, historical societies, or groups looking for a special shopping experience together.
