Product Description
Christofle France Collection Historique silvered bronze bud vase designed as a whimsical bunch of carrots with a finely chiselled finish. The design reflects the naturalist movement that inspired decorative objects in the late 1800s and was originally created for the 1893 Chicago World Fair. Pieces from Christofle’s historical naturalistic designs remain highly sought after by collectors of French decorative arts. This later example was produced by Christofle France, the renowned Parisian silversmith founded in 1830 and still operating today, and dates to approximately circa 1960–1970.
The vase stands approximately 10.5 cm tall and works beautifully as both a small vase and decorative object. Light signs of age or gentle wear may be present consistent with vintage pieces. Please contact us if you would like further information.
