Product Description
A classic Beswick Burnham Beauty shire horse figurine dating to the 1970s, beautifully modelled in full working harness and finished in rich brown tones with hand-painted detailing. This substantial ceramic figure captures the strength and dignity of the traditional shire horse, a subject for which Beswick is particularly well regarded. The figurine measures approximately 27cm high by 30cm long. Made in England from fine glazed ceramic. Please note there are some scratches and marks to the underside of the horse along with general age-related wear, consistent with display over time (see images 5 and 6). These features have been taken into consideration when pricing and do not detract from its overall presence or collectability.
A highly decorative and characterful piece, well suited to collectors of British ceramics or equestrian-themed interiors.
