This decorative Australian AIT pedestal bowl dates to the 1980s and features a finely detailed crackle glaze surface adorned with an all-over floral and foliate motif. The softly crackled ivory ground is enriched with rose and burgundy botanical decoration, while ornate brass mounts frame the rim, form scrolling handles to either side, and extend to a substantial decorative base. Measuring approximately 32cm wide by 16cm high, the bowl is crafted in glazed ceramic with applied brass fittings, reflecting the decorative revival styles popular in late 20th-century Australian interiors.
